We only use high quality products that have been tested and proven to stand the test of time, by reputable manufacturers. We offer both self-adhesive fabric media products and HP PVC Free Wallpaper (Pre-Pasted). All media and ink used are eco-friendly and used worldwide with proven results, for a sharp and vivid print.
For best results they should be installed onto a smooth, clean surface with minimal texture (e.g. painted plaster walls). However, please note that Teflon based paints are not suitable, as the product may not adhere correctly. We do not recommend installation onto any wall of texture (e.g. non-painted cement, brick, render, or onto textured paints/wallpapers, etc…) However, it has been known to work in some cases.

Please refer to the Installation Instructions and Terms and Conditions section of the website for further information. If you require further assistance feel free to fill out the contact form found in the ‘contact us’ section of the website or contact us directly on [email protected]

Making sure that the surface is properly prepared is one of the most important steps in the process to ensure successful application. With a good foundation the application of these innovative DIY products could not be simpler.

The chosen wall must be smooth, dry and clean (free of contaminants such as dirt, grease dust, etc…) The surface should also be free of imperfections such as cracks, holes, surface damage, chipped/flaking paint and moisture, where possible remove any picture hooks or light/power switch casings.

Imperfections may seem amplified once the wall art has been applied, so taking the time to repair and prepare the wall correctly will guarantee the best result. When using our range of self-adhesive products we recommend that a primer such as Viponds – Self Adhesive Prep Coat be applied to the wall prior to installation in order to achieve the best result possible and assist in longevity, however it is not essential.
For more information please visit their website. Please note applying a primer is a recommendation only and not necessary on all wall types.

We do not recommend installation onto any wall of texture (e.g. non-painted cement, brick, render, or onto textured paints/wallpapers, etc…) However, it has been known to work in some cases.

Please allow a minimum of 30 days after the completion of any painting, primer and/or wall repairs before applying your wall-covering or poster.

Please see the ‘installation instructions’ and ‘How to video’ provided on the website to get a greater understanding of the installation process. All wall-coverings and posters are supplied with easy to follow installation instructions. Our self-adhesive range come with a FREE smoothing tool to assist in the installation process and we have water trays available for purchase, if you have chosen one of the HP wallpaper (Pre-pasted) products. All products have been specially designed for the DIY market for easy installation.

As a good will gesture we at Create a Wall will reprint one sheet/panel at no cost, no questions asked, in the off chance that you damage a sheet whilst installing. If this happens to you please fill out the contact form found in the ‘contact us’ section of the website (please note: this does not apply to our range of posters).

We would like to remind you that Create a Wall products are designed for the DIY market, so professional installation is not required. When you have selected your image it will appear on the wall you have created on your screen in HP Wall Art. If there is any possibility that the selected image may not be suitable for the size of your wall or poster a yellow triangle (!) will appear in the top right-hand corner of the image. This is a warning that is automatically generated by the ‘HP Wall Art’ system to advise the user that the image chosen may appear pixelated at a particular viewing distance. HP Wall Art automatically sets the viewing distance at 120cm, however this can be altered in settings.

Please Note: Most walls/images are not viewed up close, so follow the instructions given by HP Wall Art and if you believe the image is not going to be suitable please re-select accordingly. If you require further assistance feel free to fill out the contact form found in the ‘contact us’ section of the website or contact us directly on [email protected]

YES, you can, however the same rules apply to your image as they would to one that is selected on our site. The resolution of the image will affect the quality of the print, so pay close attention to any warning message that may appear in the top right-hand corner of the image. Creating a Photo Collage is simple with Create a Wall, simply go to Start Creating select a background from our gallery, click in Foreground and upload you precious memories. Once uploaded you simply drag the image onto the wall, here you can resize, flip and move for your desired look.

Alternatively, you can create your collage using the appropriate software on your computer e.g. Adobe Photoshop or similar software, simply upload it like you would a photo by selecting ‘Upload Image’.

Remember that all images used should be high-resolution to get the best result possible.

The size and orientation of your wall will effect what kind of image you select. If your wall is landscape in orientation it is best to select an image that is also landscape or if your wall is higher than it is wide a portrait oriented image would be best. Likewise if your wall is extremely wide a panoramic sized image may work best. The closer the ratio of the wall is to the ratio of the image the better, as you will only lose a minimal amount of the image through cropping/resizing. However, this is all up to the creator and their personal preference.
